Geology: Rock Detective
Grades 3 – 5
Small group (up to 25 students)
New Fall 2010
Explore different types of rocks, and learn how they form over geologic time. Working as a team, students identify various rocks and minerals using hands-on observations and experiments. Then, they figure out how a particular rock formation has changed over millions of years.
